Adult Children of Divorce: Breaking the Cycle and Finding Fulfillment in Love, Marriage, and Family

Edward W. Beal, MD, and Gloria Hochman wrote a facinating and enlightening book about the subtle and not so subtle ways that divorce effects children both as they are growing up and in their adult lives. The authors, after detailing the effects that often follow divorce, wrote about the efforts that they believe and that theory indicated are nedded to make adjustments to divorce either immediately following the legal divorce or later in life. Their book is filled with facts, theory, and lots of brief but clear vingnettes. I highly recommend their book to anyone who is contemplating divorce or who has been through a divorce.
